We service Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of others businesses all across the United States. Our value proposition is simple; we provide directory assistance service that in every important measure of quality equals or exceeds the phone company's 411 service, but for a fraction of the cost.

Where does US Directory Assistance get its listing information?
We use a best-in-class national listing database. The database contains over 180 million business, residential, and government listings sourced directly from the phone companies and updated daily.
How can US Directory Assistance charge so much less and still provide a high quality service?
Our rates are based on the underlying cost to provide the service plus a fair margin. The phone companies significantly over-charge for directory assistance and their rates bear little resemblance to the underlying cost of providing the service.
I have a contract for my telephone service can I still use your service?
Yes, we've never seen a commercial contract for local or long distance telephone service that specifically addresses directory assistance. If the contract does not specifically address directory assistance, you're free to get this service from us.
How many listings can I request on a call?
US Directory Assistance allows the industry-standard of two requests per call.
Do users need to dial differently to use US Directory Assistance?
Yes and No. Most US Directory Assistance customers do not dial differently. They have programmable telephone systems, such as a PBX, which allow them to automatically redirect a caller's 411 call to our toll free access number. In this scenario, users continue to dial as they always have. If you do not have a programmable phone system or your system's programming capabilities are limited you can still use US Directory Assistance, but it will involve a change for the user. For example, you can setup a speed dial button that will dial the toll free access number. However, unless you can force users to dial differently they're unlikely to do so and US Directory Assistance is not typically a good application in such cases.
Can I get a lower rate if my company is a heavy user of directory assistance?

Yes, business customers know that this feature adds an undesirable cost.
Can I use US Directory Assistance from my cell phone?
Yes. We offer cell phone plans to business customers. Minimum usage must be $25.00 per month. Call us for more information.

Do you charge any monthly, set-up, or one-time charges?
No. You pay only for the cost of each call.

No. There are no contractual obligations of any kind. All you need to sign is a service agreement that acknowledges that you want the service and shows the price per call.
Who provides the toll-free service that is used with your service?
We use a major long distance carriers' toll free network.
Does your fee include the cost of the toll-free call?

How do you charge for your service?
US Directory Assistance charges a rate per call.
How do you bill for your service?
We provide a monthly billing statement that shows the number of calls and the rate. Multiple locations can be added under the same bill or each location can get its own bill. The standard bill format is paper, but a variety of electronic billing options are available.
